Think someone was digging you? Go to "Search Digs" to find out. Put in the city information and the date when the digging occurred to see all the digs posted for that city on that day. Hopefully you'll find out you were right.

If your search came up empty then add it now! Go to "Add Digs" to let that stranger know that you were indeed digging them. Put in the city information, the date when the digging occurred, and some descriptive information (ie. what he/she was wearing) to add your dig to our searchable database. If they find your posting, you know that they were interested too - after all, they found your posting right?

What are "Connections"?

"Confirm the Connection" allows you to post your perceived mutual attraction so that the person you were digging can search our database and find your posting.

"Discover the Connection" permits you to search for members who share traits as defined by you.

"Catch the Connection" enables you to anonymously "invite" members who share traits as defined by you to venues of your choosing.

Not quite sure yet? Want to find out some more about the person you were digging? Our message center allows you to anonymously communicate (only your WereYouDiggingMe.com username is visible) with the person you are digging.

Rate our members' photos. From the ratings our members give each photo, we determine a cumulative average rating and use that information to recommend potentially good matches between two members.

As our membership grows, the chances of a connection for you grows. But how to find that perfect connection? The answer is our "Connection Miner" worker who'll dig through the member database discovering members who meet the connection criteria you have selected. The Connection Miner will inform you which members match your criteria and then it's up to you to decide if you want to contact them through the WereYouDiggingMe.com Message Center. Let Connection Miner do the work so you can discover the connection.

Going out on the town in the next little while? Then why not anonymously post the date, city, and establishment you'll be at along with optional connection criteria that determines who can view your "invite". For example, by setting the "age" connection criteria to within 5 years of your age, only those members who meet that criteria will be able to view your "invite". The system will let you know how many members have "RSVP'd" to your "invite". When the date arrives and you're at the establishment - see if you can catch the connection.

The Friend Link system is used in both the "Confirm the Connection" and "Discover the Connection" processes. The system determines if you share any common friends (or friends of friends - y'know, the whole Six Degrees of Separation thing) with the member you are digging. The Friend Link system attempts to turn "strangers" into "acquaintances" since connections are easier when you share common friends.

Have you ever traded a flirtatious look with someone you didn't know? Or felt an attraction with a complete stranger? Have you ever not seized the moment and let opportunity slip away? Or had a connection with someone at an inopportune time? "Confirm the Connection" is the answer to these situations. "Confirm the Connection" allows you to post your perceived mutual attraction so that the person you were digging can search our database, find your posting, and confirm the connection.

The Picture Peer system is used in both the "Catch the Connection" and "Discover the Connection" processes. Based on the cumulative average rating our members have assigned to your picture, the system will "match" you up to your "peer equivalent" of the gender that you dig. Curious? Post your picture and let Picture Peer satisfy your curiosity. And don't forget to add in your two cents - start rating other members by selecting the "Picture Peer" menu item.
